Deskripsi pekerjaan Network & Infrastructure Engineer Tamtech International
We are looking for a professional with a strong foundation in hardware and electrical systems to support and maintain our physical and operational technology environment. As a Network & Infrastructure Engineer at Tamtech, your primary focus will be on the physical health of our systems—ranging from server hardware components and electrical stability to maintaining Linux-based servers and CI/CD pipelines. If you enjoy getting hands-on with hardware while supporting software deployment automation, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, manage, and maintain physical server hardware, basic electrical systems, and physical infrastructure health.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware failures, power supply issues, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Provision and manage Linux-based servers (both physical and virtualized), ensuring optimal performance and regular maintenance.
- Maintain and optimize deployment automation and CI/CD processes to support the development team in delivering stable software.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting to ensure server and hardware connectivity (deep networking architecture is not required).
Qualifications:
- Background in Electrical Engineering is highly prioritized (Information Technology background is acceptable if possessing strong hardware knowledge).
- Deep understanding of computer hardware components (servers, motherboards, storage, etc.) and basic electrical principles (power distribution, UPS, etc.).
- Strong grasp of basic server technologies and computer virtualization (e.g., Proxmox, VMware, VirtualBox).
- Proficiency with Linux command-line for system administration and experience in maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the development team.
- Basic programming or scripting skills (Bash, Python) will be considered a strong advantage.
- Male candidates are prioritized. Must be willing to work onsite at Tamtech.
