About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated, patient, and engaging male Teacher/Nanny to provide one-on-one homeschooling and childcare for an 11-year-old boy in Seminyak.
The child is verbal and able to communicate, and the role will involve supporting his daily learning, development, and activities in a structured and positive environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and can combine teaching, mentoring, and childcare in a private family setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-on-one homeschooling and daily educational support
* Create a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Support the child with age-appropriate academic activities
* Adapt teaching methods according to the child's learning needs and progress
* Prepare engaging lessons, activities, and educational exercises
* Encourage communication, confidence, independence, and social development
* Supervise and engage with the child throughout the working day
* Provide general childcare and ensure the child's safety and wellbeing
* Organise fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities
* Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the child's learning and daily progress
* Maintain a patient, calm, and encouraging approach at all times
* Be comfortable working around family pets
Requirements
* Preferred Male candidate
* Maximum 30 years old
* Good spoken and written English
* Previous teaching, tutoring, homeschooling, nanny, or childcare experience
* Genuine interest in working with children
* Patient, responsible, attentive, and reliable
* Confident working independently with a child
* Able to create engaging and interactive learning activities
* Comfortable adapting to the child's individual needs
* Experience working with children with autism or additional learning needs is highly preferred
* Teaching or education qualifications are an advantage
* Special education, psychology, child development, or related backgrounds are welcome
* Must have a valid motorbike and driving licence
* Professional, well-presented, and respectful
* Comfortable working in a private family environment
* Must be willing to commit to a long-term position

Working Conditions
This is a live-out position based in Seminyak.
The successful candidate will work approximately 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 6 days per week, with one day off.
The position combines homeschooling/education with childcare, so the candidate should be comfortable spending the full working day actively engaging with and supervising the child.
The exact homeschooling curriculum, educational approach, and additional responsibilities will be discussed further during the interview with the family.
