Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Murex Developer to join a banking technology team supporting development and enhancement initiatives for UOB Malaysia.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Murex, particularly in Datamart development, with proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL. The candidate should be capable of supporting ongoing development activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders in a professional banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, enhance, and maintain Murex applications, particularly within the Datamart module.
* Support ongoing development initiatives and system enhancements related to Murex.
* Develop and maintain solutions using Python, Java, and SQL.
* Support data extraction, transformation, reporting, and related Datamart requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Murex applications and data processing.
* Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver development requirements.
* Perform unit testing, debugging, and code optimization to ensure system quality and reliability.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.
* Ensure development activities comply with banking technology standards and project requirements.
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in Murex development or a closely related field.
* Hands-on experience with Murex Datamart.
* Proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
* Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written, suitable for a professional banking environment.
* Must be willing and able to relocate to Malaysia.
* Notice period of less than 60 days.
Compensation & Opportunity
