At PAI, an agriculture organization that committed to advancing sustainable practices and driving innovation, this realization is at the heart of their latest strategic move: the recruitment of mobile developers. But why, you may wonder, is PAI hiring mobile developers? The answer lies in their quest to empower their Smallholder Initiatives (SI) team, particularly the NTT area team, in their mission to record and analyze data that will shape the future of the organization.
For any organization, data is the lifeblood that fuels informed decision-making and drives progress. At PAI, this is no different. The SI team, with a specific focus on NTT, is tasked with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data related to sustainability efforts and innovation initiatives. However, they were facing a significant challenge: the cumbersome and time-consuming process of data collection.
Traditionally, data collection for sustainability reports and product development has been a manual and paper-based affair, fraught with inefficiencies and prone to errors. PAI recognized that to truly drive sustainability and innovation, they needed to revolutionize their data collection methods.
Enter the mobile developers. PAI identified mobile technology as the key to revolutionizing their data collection processes. By leveraging the power of mobile devices, they could streamline data collection, make it more accessible, and significantly reduce the margin for error. As a result, we are currently seeking a Mobile Developer Intern to help us scale our initiatives.
Who are we looking for?
- Familiar with flutter or react native
- Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite
- Experienced in RESTful API architectures
- Understanding of software development life-cycle
- Experienced with good code practices such as OOP and SOLID principles
- Ability to work independently and strive to write readable and understandable code
- Good knowledge of UI/UX concept
- Familiar with GCP or AWS
- Fluent in English (listening and writing)
- Willing to be placed at Banyuwangi, East Java
What you will do?
The Mobile Developer Intern is responsible to helping Pandawa Agri Indonesia IT Team for designing, building, improving, or maintaining our mobile applications, Specific responsibilities in this role include:
- Supports the entire lifecycle of the application (concept, design, testing, release, and support)
- Produce functionally running mobile applications
- Identify problems found by testing or customer feedback and fix problems or refer to appropriate personnel for correction.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Interface design to improve the user experience.
- Ensuring applications meet quality standards.
- Research and advise on the development of new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
- Stay up to date with new technology trends.
