Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end fashion product development, from material preparation and sampling to production readiness and product launch.
- Coordinate Merchandiser and Designer teams to ensure products meet brand requirements, quality standards, and market needs.
- Manage vendor selection, evaluate vendor performance, and negotiate production costs.
- Monitor material availability, production progress, product quality, and delivery timelines.
- Review product costing, selling price calculations, and vendor payment adjustments related to defective products.
- Coordinate quality inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented for products that do not meet standards.
- Evaluate product performance and feedback to support future product development.
- Ensure product readiness before launch, including materials, quality, quantity, costing, and production timelines.
- Lead, develop, and monitor team performance to achieve operational targets.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1), preferably in Fashion Design, Textile, Fashion Business, Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the fashion or retail industry, with at least 3 years in merchandising, product development, or a related managerial role.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end fashion product development, fabric and materials, garment construction, sampling, costing, and quality control.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willing to travel for business when required.
