- Role: Mentor for Academy Program - ZonaEBT
- Location: Remote (Indonesia-based preferred)
- Position Type: Part-Time/Contract
Role Description:
As a Mentor for the Academy Program at ZonaEBT, you will play a key role in guiding, educating, and inspiring participants who are passionate about clean energy, sustainability, and environmental technology. Your primary responsibility is to provide mentorship, share your expertise, and facilitate learning for individuals or groups involved in our programs. You will collaborate with participants to build their skills and understanding of topics such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste management, and environmental innovation.
You will work closely with the ZonaEBT team to ensure program objectives are met and that the participants are engaged and supported throughout their learning journey. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to give back to the community and shape the next generation of environmental technology leaders in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to participants in the Academy Program, helping them to build knowledge in areas related to clean energy and environmental technology.
- Assist participants in developing project ideas, solving problems, and overcoming challenges.
- Collaborate with the ZonaEBT team to create and deliver educational materials, webinars, and workshops.
- Support participants in refining their skills related to project management, entrepreneurship, and technical innovation in the sustainability sector.
- Offer feedback, insights, and advice to help mentees progress in their personal and professional development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and constructive learning environment for all participants.
- Monitor mentee progress and contribute to program assessments and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the clean energy, environmental technology, or sustainability sector.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, Engineering, Sustainability, or related fields.
- Mentorship Skills: Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or teaching students, startups, or professionals is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (optional)
- Passion for Sustainability: A demonstrated commitment to sustainability and environmental innovation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist mentees in overcoming challenges in their projects or careers.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs within the program.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with online collaboration tools and digital education platforms (e.g., Zoom)
Preferred:
- Experience working with startups or entrepreneurs in the clean energy or sustainability sectors.
- Familiarity with Indonesia’s energy transition, policy landscape, or environmental challenges.
- Professional network in renewable energy, sustainability, or clean technology.
