Mekanik - Engineering Staff

PT Iljin Indonesia is seeking a Mechanic – Engineering Staff to support machinery maintenance and reliable production operations in the plastic manufacturing industry.

This role focuses on mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair to keep production machinery operating safely and efficiently.

The Job Outline

Your role is to keep production machinery in good working condition through regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs.

What You Will Do

• Inspect production machinery and identify signs of wear, damage, or abnormal operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and carry out repairs to minimize downtime.
• Replace, adjust, and lubricate machine components as required.
• Assist with machinery installation, setup, and maintenance trials.
• Record maintenance activities, repair results, and spare parts usage.
• Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs and confirm machine readiness.
• Keep tools and maintenance areas organized, and follow workplace safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial machinery.
• Able to use mechanical tools and measuring equipment correctly.
• Able to identify mechanical problems and carry out repairs systematically.
• Careful, responsible, and consistent in following maintenance and safety procedures.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with other teams.
• Relevant vocational education in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
• Previous maintenance experience in plastic manufacturing is an advantage.

Time & Money

• Working days: 6 days/week
• Monday – Friday: Full day (8 hours)
• Saturday: Half day (08.00 – 12.00)
• Clear and consistent working schedule (no shift system).
• Salary: IDR up to 6,000,000/month (based on experience)
