Deskripsi pekerjaan Medical Partnership Representative — Patient Referral MixWork Pte. Ltd.
About the Role
This is not a pharmaceutical sales or medical detailing role.
We're looking for someone to build and grow a referral network that connects Indonesian patients with medical treatment options in China — specifically second medical opinions and medical travel programmes for serious conditions.
Our client is a China-based healthcare and medical travel services provider expanding into Indonesia. You'll be the person on the ground: developing trusted relationships with doctors, hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, insurance brokers, and medical travel agencies across Greater Jakarta so they become active referral channels for patients who could benefit from treatment options in China.
If you've worked in hospital referral systems, medical tourism partnerships, or healthcare business development — and you already know people in the industry — this role was built for someone like you.
Important Notes
- Language Requirement: Working proficiency in English is required for reporting to the China-based team, alongside native-level Bahasa Indonesia for local partner engagement.
- Equal Opportunity Employer: We are committed to equal opportunity employment and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, age, or disability status.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain a network of referral channels: hospitals, clinics, independent practitioners, pharmacies, insurance brokers, and medical travel agencies
- Educate channel partners on the client's referral pathways — complementary second medical opinions and medical travel-to-China programmes — through briefings, small-group sessions, and health talks
- Organise community outreach events to raise awareness of the referral pathway among healthcare providers and the public
- Track channel visits and referral case progress through CRM; submit weekly activity reports
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, and patient needs
Who You Are
- You already have relationships with doctors, hospital decision-makers, or healthcare stakeholders in Jakarta — this is essential, not a nice-to-have
- You've worked in hospital referral coordination, medical tourism, healthcare BD, or a similar partnership-driven role (not just pharma detailing)
- You're comfortable working independently in the field with no fixed office — visiting partners, attending events, and building trust face-to-face
- D3/S1 in nursing, pharmacy, public health, biology, or clinical medicine preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Working proficiency in English (written and spoken) — you'll report to the China-based team
- Native Indonesian speaker for local partner engagement
Nice to Have
- Existing network in oncology, cardiovascular, ENT, or paediatrics
- Experience in cross-border healthcare or medical travel
What We Offer
- BPJS Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan as per Indonesian labour regulations
- Additional medical flex benefit on top of statutory BPJS
- Field-based role with remote/home-based arrangement between visits — no fixed office (must domicile in Greater Jakarta Area)
- Opportunity to be part of a growing cross-border healthcare initiative
