Deskripsi pekerjaan Mediation & Negotiations Specialist FLIN

Responsibilities

1. Structured Loan Mediation & Settlement Strategy

  • Conduct end-to-end negotiations with digital lenders, P2P platforms, multi-finance companies, and banks
  • Develop structured repayment plans based on borrower exposure and timing
  • Negotiate principal reductions, interest waivers, penalty eliminations, and systematic settlement timelines
  • Enhance lender discount rates to increase Dana Talangan's feasibility
  • Manage settlements across current accounts, overdue accounts, and charged-off portfolios
  • Ensure legally binding and compliant settlement documentation

2. Borrower Financial Structuring & Eligibility Engineering

  • Analyze the borrower’s cash flow, liabilities, and repayment capacity
  • Determine optimal settlement sequencing in multi-lender situations
  • Design phased settlement plans to unlock Dana Talangan's eligibility
  • Educate borrowers regarding settlement, restructuring, and refinancing trade-offs

3. Lender Relationship & Discount Optimization

  • Utilize established relationships with financial institutions to secure favorable settlement outcomes
  • Maintain engagement with P2P lenders, multi-finance companies, digital lending platforms, and collection agencies
  • Monitor historical discount benchmarks per lender
  • Improve average negotiated discount percentages over time
  • Develop escalation strategies for complex or high-exposure cases

4. Financial Literacy & Strategic Advisory

  • Educate borrowers on unsecured lending structures, including interest accrual, penalties, and collection cycles
  • Explain lender recovery stages and realistic settlement timelines
  • Advise borrowers to prioritize essential living expenses during financial distress
  • Inform borrowers of their legal rights and protections when interacting with debt collectors
  • Provide structured guidance on communications with lenders and collection agents
  • Clarify the effects of delinquency on credit bureau records and future financing
  • Support borrowers in transitioning to a responsible structured settlement and refinancing

5. Mediation Performance Analytics

  • Monitor settlement KPIs, including discount rate by lender category, closure cycle times, conversion rates, and drop-off rates
  • Identify patterns in lender behavior
  • Develop data-driven negotiation strategies
  • Prepare structured performance reports
  • Utilize Excel, CRM, and internal dashboards to optimize outcomes

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Dana Talangan underwriting team, legal and compliance departments, customer success, and risk analytics
  • Align settlement structures with refinancing criteria
  • Ensure seamless transitions from mediation to financing

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in debt restructuring, loan settlements, collections strategy, and consumer lending ecosystem.
  • Established relationships with P2P lenders in Indonesia, multi-finance companies, and digital lending institutions.
  • Proven track record of negotiating substantial settlement discounts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and CRM applications.
