Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, and publish news articles, features, and reports across multiple platforms.
- Identify and pitch relevant, timely, and engaging story ideas.
- Conduct interviews and gather information from credible sources.
- Monitor news trends, competitor coverage, and audience interests to inform content strategy.
- Optimize articles for SEO and audience engagement (headlines, keywords, structure).
- Ensure all content adheres to editorial guidelines, ethics, and legal standards.
- Track article performance and adjust content approach based on data insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Mass Media, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Journalist, Reporter, or Content Writer in a media company.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in Bahasa Indonesia (English is a plus).
- Solid understanding of journalistic ethics, fact-checking, and editorial standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight publishing deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media trends and digital content distribution.
- Portfolio of published articles required.
- Experience covering specific beats (business, lifestyle, tech, entertainment, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to multitask across multiple stories and platforms simultaneously.
