Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, P&ID, layout drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Hands-on experience with rotating and static equipment and industrial machines.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and codes such as ASME, API, ISO, and relevant OEM standards
- Solid understanding of machine installation practices
- Deep understanding of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, layout drawings, and OEM manuals.
- Familiar with construction sequences, method statements, and commissioning procedures
- apable of preparing and reviewing technical documents, including: Installation procedures, Commissioning reports, Mechanical completion dossiers, As-built documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills during installation and start-up phases.
- Good leadership and coordination skills to supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
- Able to work independently under pressure and meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical failures during commissioning (misalignment, vibration, overheating, leakage
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and interface management with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams.
- Able to coordinate with vendors, inspectors, and third-party commissioning teams.
Key Responsibility:
- Lead and supervise mechanical construction, installation, and commissioning of machines and equipment.
- Review and execute installation procedures, method statements, and commissioning plans.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure proper interface and sequence of work.
- Supervise contractors and technicians during equipment erection, alignment, leveling, grouting, and mechanical completion.
- Conduct and witness pre-commissioning, commissioning, FAT, and SAT activities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during installation and start-up, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all activities comply with project specifications, OEM requirements, applicable standards, and HSE regulations.
- Monitor site progress, manage punch lists, and ensure timely project completion.
- Prepare and review technical reports, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams.
