WE’RE HIRING — Mechanical Engineering
Location: Makassar | Full-Time
Agros is looking for a Mechanical Engineering to support the execution of pump installation and field projects across Makassar.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, site coordination, troubleshooting, and working directly with customers and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance of large-scale pump systems
- Conduct site visits and assist with project execution in the field
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation
- Monitor project progress and ensure field activities follow technical requirements
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Read and interpret basic technical drawings, site layouts, and installation plans
- Prepare field reports, installation documentation, and project updates
- Ensure tools, equipment, and project materials are properly prepared and used
- Support testing, handover, and post-installation follow-up activities
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; other relevant engineering backgrounds may also be considered
- Experience with large pump installations, water infrastructure, irrigation systems, or construction projects is preferred
- Able to understand technical drawings, site layouts, and installation requirements
- Comfortable working on-site and handling hands-on technical activities
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to solve problems in the field
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with project teams
- Willing to travel and visit project locations across Makassar
- Having a personal vehicle and valid driving licence is a plus
