Mechanical Electrical Safety Officer

Job Overview

Responsible for designing policy and procedure that help prevent harm to workers and property and ensure safe machine process implementation for all machines type. And also ensure the machine design and work spaces safe to minimized job related mechanical hazard.

Responsibilities

• Follow company program:

a. Compulsory to comply and implement all OSH regulations and culture (including the use of PPE), quality and environment.

b. Providing information about occupational accidents, reports on issues and provide advice related to OHS program, quality and environment (solid waste, water, and chemicals).

• Developing and executing mechanical and electrical safety program and design work related mechanical and electrical safety to comply CLS Nike Mechanical Safety Regulation.

• Mapping and collect data all machines, machines data analysis to get the information about inventory machines.

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies, that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

• Work with Risk Management and Assurance Team to do safe machine process (5 steps) for MM Machine and conventional machine to observe possible unsafe conditions, electrical potential hazard and make improvement plan.

• Apply all regulation and Nike Standards on mechanical and electrical safety to ensure there are no mechanical or electrical hazard potential on work areas.

• Evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law-related mechanical (Machine Safety, Maintenance Safety, Machine Guarding, Pressure vessel, Confined Spaces) and electrical (Electrical network, connection, load installation and inspection).

• Work with Risk Management and Assurance Team to share the top common risk for improve after risk Assessment.

• Attend on safety Training internal and External to get latest information about safety and comply mechanical and electrical competency.

• Attend on Safety meeting: Weekly briefing, monthly meeting internal and Group, and meeting with all Dept. Head to discuss latest information about safety and comply mechanical and electrical competency.

• Make monthly and annually safety report to information about progress and development Mechanical and electrical safety program.

• Work with Risk Management and Assurance Team, OH Team and all departement related to machine safety.

• Do Implementation of COSMA, SMK3, SLCP and ISO 45001, OHS regulations, to support the company's management system.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Technical / Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 3 years of working experience in Safety.

• Have AK3U is a point plus.

• Have Knowledge: HS Training Program need based on Regulation, Buyer and company needs, Deep understanding of Mechanical and safety guidelines, Good Mechanical and Safety analysis and data, Make a good improvement plan for HS training program, Knowing Audit process, implementation and follow up, Machine Risk Assessment, Understanding vision mission company and safety policy, Understanding standards in work areas related regulation of OHS Quality and Environment

• Have Skill: Good Communication in Bahasa and English, Good Analytical Thinking for training needed on HS program, Training Management, Good managerial Skill, Reporting Skill, Trainer

• Have Attitude: Positive Attitude, Quality Orientation, Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Self-learning Capacity
