Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Senior) / Maintenance Supervisor
Greenhouse & Farm Facilities
Role Summary
- Ensure reliable operation of greenhouse and farm facility systems through preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Provide hands-on support and coach existing team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain electrical, mechanical, irrigation, pump, and related systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs or coordinate external vendors.
- Identify root causes and prevent recurring failures.
- Ensure backup power and generator readiness.
- Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, spare parts lists, and repair logs.
- Coach and transfer technical knowledge to team members.
- Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5+ years in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Problem Solving: Able to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Field-Ready: Willing and able to perform hands-on maintenance, not only supervise.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems (MEP).
- Experience developing maintenance schedules, checklists, and documentation.
- Experience coordinating maintenance vendors.
- Experience with generators or backup power systems.
- Ability to coach and mentor junior team members.
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, pumps, dosing systems, EC/pH monitoring, sensors, or basic PLC/HMI.
- Basic electrical safety and occupational safety knowledge.
