Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, professional, and dedicated IGCSE, AS/A Level Mathematics Teacher to provide high-quality instruction for students following an International Curriculum. The teacher will deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons that support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills while achieving academic excellence in the IGCSE and AS/A Level curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Mathematics lessons for IGCSE and AS/A Level students through both offline and online learning sessions.
- Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Mathematics syllabus and learning objectives.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, exercises, and assessments tailored to students' academic needs and learning pace.
- Support students in strengthening their understanding of mathematical concepts and improving problem-solving abilities.
- Guide students in examination techniques, mathematical reasoning, and critical thinking skills required for IGCSE and AS/A Level examinations.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress regularly.
- Provide constructive feedback and communicate learning outcomes with parents.
- Prepare progress reports and recommend strategies for continuous academic improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and the academic team to ensure students achieve their academic goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Mathematics, preferably at the IGCSE level.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Mathematics Curriculum is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IGCSE and AS/A Level examination requirements and assessment standards.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Able to teach Mathematics subjects including Additional Mathematics when required.
- Familiar with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning approaches.
- Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed academically.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Technology savvy and able to utilize digital learning resources effectively.
