About The Katha

The Katha is a Bali-based sustainable home & lifestyle brand creating thoughtfully made pieces from natural and considered materials — from French flax linen and eucalyptus to Egyptian organic cotton. We believe in quality over quantity, intentional living, and creating everyday objects that bring people closer to nature. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Marketing Manager to help shape how The Katha is seen, experienced, and remembered.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute The Katha's overall marketing strategy and annual marketing calendar.

- Plan and manage campaigns across Instagram, website, marketplaces, WhatsApp, and offline channels.

- Create marketing strategies that balance brand building and conversion.

- Develop campaign concepts, key messages, promotions, launches, and seasonal activations.

- Manage and improve social media and digital marketing performance.

- Monitor marketing performance, customer behaviour, campaign results, and conversion metrics.

- Develop strategies to increase website sales, showroom visits, customer retention, and brand awareness.

- Identify opportunities for collaborations, pop-ups, events, PR, influencers, and strategic partnerships.

- Support B2B marketing initiatives for interior designers, architects, villas, hotels, and hospitality projects.

- Coordinate with external partners, creators, media, and vendors when needed.

- Manage marketing budgets and ensure spending is aligned with business goals.

What We're Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, brand, digital marketing, or a related role.

- Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, and paid advertising.

- Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns from concept to execution.

- Strong communication and copywriting skills.

- Good understanding of branding, customer journeys, and conversion.

- Creative thinker who can turn ideas into practical campaigns.

- Comfortable working with numbers, analytics, and performance reports.

- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

- Proactive, independent, and willing to be hands-on.

- Strong attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics.

- Comfortable working in a growing brand where things move quickly and responsibilities can evolve.

- Bali-based and available to work full time, onsite in Ubud
