What You Would Do
As a full-time Programme Marketing and Communications Intern, you will support the Programme team. You will experience firsthand the planning and execution of marketing and communications campaigns for our innovation events and programmes.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Help design and execute targeted outreach campaigns
- Research and segment communities and startups in the region and around the world
- Write engaging copy for messaging through various channels and targeted to various groups
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing and outreach efforts using analytics
- Help manage and curate a rich database of startups and innovative SMEs
- Assist in organising and facilitating a range of events (virtual, hybrid or physical), such as pitch/demo days, workshops, hackathons, etc.
- Contribute to our thought leadership pieces
Internship Outcomes
You Will Be Exposed To And Learn
- Various audience groups in the tech ecosystem, including startup founders and other innovators, other ecosystem enablers, etc.
- The design and implementation of an effective outreach campaign, including the analysis of campaign goals, the drafting of marketing plans, and the creation of compelling messages for various audience groups
- Various tools, techniques and platforms used to manage campaigns, and how the marketing and communications processes can be improved
- The functions of large corporations and organisations and their business challenges, and their innovation strategies
- Business skills in decision-making, project management, communication, presentation, event facilitation and management, etc.

You Should Have
We are looking for a team player with a can-do attitude, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent writing skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- An interest in technologies and startups
- Ability to contribute ideas and think independently
Prior experience in planning or executing marketing and communications campaigns is an advantage.
