job Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
Supplier Development & Management
Source, evaluate, negotiate with and maintain relationships with local suppliers covering event operation vendors (EO), equipment rental, material production, venue arrangement, security services, event permits, catering and other categories.
Establish and update the supplier resource database.
Purchasing Execution & Cost Control
Initiate inquiry, price comparison and negotiation based on event demands to ensure reasonable and transparent procurement prices.
Assist in formulating event budgets and monitor procurement expenses.
Follow up procurement contracts, handle acceptance check, payment procedures and document filing.
Event Operation Support
Support on-site event execution including supplier docking, material allocation and personnel coordination.
Assist supervisors in EO screening, contract negotiation and on-site issue resolution.
Put forward optimization suggestions for procurement work and supplier management.
Local Partnership Maintenance
Maintain daily communication with local partners and implement event support arrangements.
Assist in material preparation and reception coordination for government guest invitations.
Job Requirements
Over 5 years of working experience in procurement, supplier management or event execution.
Prior experience in sports events, exhibition and advertising industries is preferred.
Familiar with local supplier resources and equipped with strong bargaining capabilities.
Native Indonesian speaker capable of business negotiation and contract review; proficient in English, proficiency in Chinese is a plus.
