Role Description
We are seeking a versatile Mandarin Translator to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to facilitate seamless communication between our company and our Mandarin-speaking clients. You will translating written and spoken communications between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia for a smooth construction process, and ensuring the project meet client expectations. When not engaged in active Chinese projects, you will support account executive during "gap" periods between Chinese projects.
This is a full-time office-based role that requires a willingness to travel to project sites for on-site interpretation and meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately translate documents from Mandarin to Bahasa Indonesia.
- Act as the main point of contact for Mandarin-speaking clients to communicate project needs and present our company’s solutions effectively.
- Assist the design and project teams in understanding client specifications to ensure the final delivery meets expectations.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
Qualification
- Fluency in Mandarin verbal and written with minimal HSK 5 certification.
- Previous experience or a strong background in construction, interior fit-out, or design is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in translation and interpretation within a professional business environment, specifically working with Chinese corporations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Willingness to visit project sites for meetings and site inspections as required.
