Duties & Responsibilities
• Greet, assist, and accompany Mandarin-speaking customers throughout their shopping — helping them find products, explaining promotions, and answering questions.
• Bridge communication between Chinese customers and store staff or cashiers whenever there is a language barrier.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, requests, and returns promptly and warmly, escalating to the relevant party when needed.
• Communicate promotions, membership programs, and store services to customers, with special focus on the Chinese customer segment.
• Build strong relationships with regular customers to encourage loyalty to the store.
• Follow up with loyal/regular customers (e.g., via WhatsApp) regarding new promotions and stock availability of frequently requested products.
• Manage or respond to Mandarin-language content on the store's social media and customer messages, where applicable.
• Support the general customer service desk / information counter, and assist cashiers and floor staff during peak hours (including general, non-Mandarin-speaking customers).
• Help with product display, price checks, and store tidiness — particularly in areas favored by Chinese customers.
• Compile customer preferences and feedback into a regular report for the Store Manager (e.g., frequently requested but out-of-stock items, recurring complaints).
• Maintain a professional store image and service standard at all times.

Qualifications
• Minimum senior high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a Diploma/Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Fluent in spoken Mandarin is a MUST and good command of Bahasa Indonesia.
• Communicative, friendly, and service-oriented.
• Retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
• Well-groomed and presentable.
• Willing to be placed at assigned stores and to work on a shift system.
