Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mandarin Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, Education or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development, academic management, or Mandarin language teaching.
- HSK Level 5 (or equivalent) with excellent proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Strong understanding of Mandarin language acquisition, curriculum development, and instructional design.
- Experience developing curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assessments.
- Experience teaching or developing curriculum for children is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Develop, review, and continuously improve Mandarin curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Design engaging and age-appropriate learning resources that align with academic standards and learning objectives.
- Conduct curriculum research and recommend improvements based on educational trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with teachers to gather feedback and enhance curriculum effectiveness.
- Provide academic guidance, curriculum support, and coaching to Mandarin teachers.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide recommendations to improve teaching quality.
- Plan and facilitate curriculum training, workshops, and professional development programs for teachers.
- Monitor curriculum implementation to ensure consistency and quality across learning centres.
- Collaborate with Academic and Operations teams to support new program development and curriculum initiatives.
- Prepare curriculum documentation, academic reports, and other educational resources as required
