Minimum Bachelor Degree from Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering or similar qualification with a strong technical background
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as a shipyard manager or other management level responsibilities in a shipyard environment.
- In depth knowledge of all business functions associated with shipyard management.
- Ability to understand and administer Classification guidelines
- Ability to apply Continuous Improvement strategies across all functions. Must be adaptable and open to new ideas
- Considerable knowledge in all areas of shipbuilding and repair, material handling, labor, safety and product related state and federal regulations and practices.
- Experience with Profit and Loss and general Accounting practices.
- Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to work towards deadlines with right sense of urgency
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English
- Willing to be placed at Batam of Riau Island and able to join within 1-month notice
