Machine Learning Application Engineer

We are seeking a Machine Learning Application Engineer to support AI-driven and data analytics initiatives in Industry 4.0. This role focuses on developing and implementing machine learning & AI solutions for industrial applications, including data modeling & analytics, algorithm development, and systems integration. The engineer will work with real-world industrial data to build predictive models, optimize processes, and enable intelligent automation for Industry 4.0.

Job Description

1. Explore and visualize data to gain an understanding of the data
2. Process and analyze the data to determine methods & solutions for solving the problem statements
3. Research and implement appropriate ML and AI algorithms and tools
4. Design and develop ML & AI algorithms
5. Training models and tuning hyperparameters
6. Analyse errors of the model and design strategies to overcome the errors
7. Develop ML & AI pipeline for production
8. Deploy models to production
9. Documenting the ML & AI processes and outcomes
10. Keep up with the state of the art of ML & AI developments

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/electrical engineering
2. Programming experience in Python and JavaScript
3. Familiar with machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI frameworks/platforms
4. Skilled in data pre-processing, exploratory data analysis, and data modelling
5. Experienced in API development and database queries
6. Familiar with version control tool (git)
7. Experienced in Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision is a plus
8. Experienced in Machine Learning & Generative AI pipeline and automation tool
9. Experienced in containerization and container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes) is a plus
10. Strong written and verbal English
11. Willing to work in Bandung
