Logistik Supervisor

Job Description:

PT. Anugrah Duta Food is looking for a proactive, highly organized, and experienced Logistics Supervisor to manage and optimize the logistics operations for our company. The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely movement of goods, inventory management, and distribution. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and an in-depth understanding of logistics processes to ensure smooth coordination between the warehouse, suppliers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics Management:

• Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers.
• Coordinate transportation logistics, including scheduling deliveries, managing shipments, and ensuring on-time arrivals and departures.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to ensure the company’s product availability without overstocking.

Warehouse & Inventory Control:

• Supervise the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper organization and stock rotation.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and timely stock reconciliation to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts.
• Implement efficient warehouse management practices to maximize space utilization and productivity.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

• Lead and manage a team of logistics staff, providing guidance, training, and motivation to enhance team performance.
• Foster a collaborative working environment and ensure clear communication across the logistics and warehouse teams.
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and evaluate team performance to ensure operational efficiency.

Supplier & Transporter Coordination:

• Collaborate with suppliers, transporters, and third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Negotiate transport rates, delivery schedules, and service terms with external partners to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely deliveries.
• Resolve any transportation-related issues, including delays, damaged goods, or lost shipments, and implement corrective actions.

Process Improvement & Reporting:

• Continuously monitor logistics operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality control.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics and warehouse operations.
• Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, transportation costs, and other key metrics for management review.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and national regulations related to logistics, transportation, and warehousing.
• Promote a culture of safety within the logistics and warehouse teams, ensuring the proper handling and storage of materials and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation management, and warehouse management systems.
• Proficient in logistics software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and coordinating cross-functional activities.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
