What you'll be doing
- Developing comprehensive transport plans to meet customer delivery requirements
- Optimising vehicle routing and load utilisation to reduce costs and emissions
- Monitoring delivery performance and identifying areas for improvement
- Communicating with internal teams and external carriers to ensure seamless logistics
- Analysing data and generating reports to support strategic decision making
- Collaborating with the warehouse and inventory management teams
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport regulations and safety standards
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a transport planning or logistics coordination role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using transportation management software and data analysis tools
- Knowledge of transport regulations, route planning, and fleet management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field
