As part of our commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking a capable and proactive professional to lead our shipping operations and enhance our logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company’s shipping operations, both domestic and international
- Supervise and guide the Shipping Analyst in executing shipping tasks with accuracy
- Ensure full compliance with Indonesian export/import regulations and permit processes
- Manage end-to-end export/import documentation, applications, and licensing
- Liaise with government agencies (e.g., Bea Cukai), freight forwarders, and customers
- Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Maintain clean and accurate shipment records and provide updates to the Director of Operations
- Support other company tasks as needed, under the direction of the Director
What We’re Looking For:
- Willing to travel locally for operational purposes
- Experience in the export-import industry (especially with customs and shipping procedures)
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) for communication with international partners
- Strong understanding of Indonesian shipping and trade regulations, including customs clearance, import permits, and export documentation
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and initiative
- Able to lead and improve the performance of team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or shipping/logistics platforms
