Roles and Responsibilities – Logistics Supervisor

1. Plan, manage, and oversee all logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution of goods.
2. Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including transportation, delivery schedules, and documentation.
3. Monitor inventory levels to ensure accuracy, availability, and proper stock rotation.
4. Manage warehouse operations, including storage layout, material handling, and safety procedures.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable regulations.
6. Utilize logistics and ERP systems (such as SAP or similar systems) to track shipments, inventory, and operational performance.
7. Analyze logistics performance and costs, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses.
8. Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Finance, and Other Departement) to support business needs.
9. Manage, train, and evaluate logistics and warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
10. Handle logistics-related issues, including delays, damages, and discrepancies, and provide timely solutions.
11. Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, inventory status, and operational performance for management review.
12. Ensure readiness for audits and maintain accurate logistics and warehouse documentation.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics processes, warehouse management, and distribution operations.
4. Proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP or similar logistics systems.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
7. Good communication and coordination skills across departments.
8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
9. Willing to travel or work out of town when required.
10. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
