Job Description
- Handle end-to-end import logistics processes, including shipment planning, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Manage and process PI (Persetujuan Impor) applications and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and government authorities for import clearance.
- Monitor international shipments (FCL / LCL / bulk cargo) from origin port to final delivery destination.
- Calculate and estimate import costs, including freight, customs duties, coordination fees, and other logistics expenses.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian import regulations, including required certifications such as SNI.
- Prepare and review import documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, PI, and customs declarations.
- Handle customs clearance processes and resolve any import documentation or clearance issues.
- Track shipment schedules and provide logistics updates to internal teams and management.
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to import activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Experience in registration API-U /API-P
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in import logistics, shipping, or customs clearance.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian import regulations, PI process, and customs clearance procedures.
- Familiar with LCL/FCL shipment, bulk cargo shipping, and international freight processes.
- Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers.
- Understanding of SNI certification process and import licensing is preferred.
- Able to estimate shipping costs, logistics costs, and import duties.
- Good problem-solving skills in handling shipment delays or customs issues.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
