Librarian (substitute)

Insan Cendekia Madani Boarding School Development is an Islamic school that has made various strategic steps to nurture talented graduates from noble characters in the teachings of Islam. Therefore, we are looking for a Librarian (Substitute) with the following qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Library Science.
• Minimum two years of experience as a Librarian in a school environment.
• Having experience or familiarity with using SLiMS system.
• Holding a librarian certificate would be preferable.
• Currently not participating as a candidate for Civil Service or Government Staff selection process (for example CPNS, PPPK, etc) or committed to other parties.
• Proficient in Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Proven self-initiative, creative, and teamwork spirit with an open-minded character.
• Possess strong Islamic characters.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
• Ready to join in June 2026.
• This position is for 3 months' contract (For maternity leaves).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage and maintain the library collection using SLIMS (Senayan Library Management System).
• Input metadata in accordance with library classification policies (using DDC).
• Perform physical processing of library collections (book cards, book covers, book identity/labels).
• Organize shelving based on classification codes.
• Preserve and maintain the physical condition of library collections.
• Provide library services for students and teachers in the Early Childhood and Primary School programs.
• Handle library circulation services.
• Offer library information and reference assistance.
• Support literacy development within the school environment (including storytelling activities).
• Others: The school may assign other functions to the job when required.
