Legal Manager (exp Fintech/Property/Hotel)

The Legal Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel and support to the holding company and its subsidiaries, with a particular focus on the fintech sector. This role requires a deep understanding of financial regulations, contract law, corporate governance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Legal Counsel: Provide strategic legal advice on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company’s adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, particularly in the fintech sector. Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the business.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks across the organization. Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies.
• Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including commercial agreements, service agreements, and intellectual property agreements.
• Litigation Management: Oversee and manage legal disputes, including pre-litigation matters, litigation, and arbitration.
• Team Management: Lead and develop a legal team, including setting goals, providing mentorship, and performance management.
• Corporate Governance: Advise on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, shareholder relations, and compliance with corporate laws.
• Fintech Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of the fintech industry, including payment systems, digital lending, and digital assets.

Qualifications :

• Law degree from a reputable law school.
• Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, with at least 5 years in the financial services industry, preferably in the fintech sector.
• Proficiency in English
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of finance technology principals will be a plus point.
• Experience in dealing with regulatory authorities and industry associations, OJK & BI.
• Willing to work on Saturday
• Willing to be based in Ancol but also mobile between SCBD and Menteng area
