Legal Intern (Criminal Law) – PT Staff Link Solutions
Duration: 6 months
Location: Bali, Indonesia
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on criminal law issues, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters
- Review and summarize relevant laws and regulations, court decisions, and case law
- Prepare legal memos, legal summaries, and analytical materials to support the legal team
- Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Prepare case chronologies and fact matrices as a basis for analysis
- Manage, index, and organize case documents and files
- Assist with document review and completeness checks of case files
- Prepare minutes of internal meetings and discussions
- Monitor developments in relevant regulations and criminal law issues
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team
Requirements
- Final-year student or fresh graduate of a Bachelor of Law (S1) program, preferably with a concentration in Criminal Law
- Strong understanding of criminal law and criminal procedure law
- Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written) – mandatory
- Strong research and legal writing skills, with the ability to work with unfamiliar jurisdictions
- Familiarity with legal research databases and online legal reference sources
- Based in Bali or willing to relocate to Bali
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proactive, adaptable, and a good team player
- Professional and reliable, with the ability to maintain strict client confidentiality
- Internship or exposure in the field of criminal law is a plus
