RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage Infrastructure, DevOps, and SRE teams.
- Set technical standards, priorities, and platform direction.
- Ensure production systems are reliable, scalable, and operationally efficient.
- Oversee production readiness reviews, change management, and major platform upgrades.
- Lead incident response and coordinate cross-functional technical teams during critical issues.
- Drive automation initiatives and AI-assisted operational improvements.
- Maintain infrastructure roadmaps, capacity planning, and platform standardization.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineers while supporting hiring and onboarding activities.
- Collaborate closely with Security, Product, Project, and Customer Operations teams.
- Monitor platform performance, reliability, and operational health.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Proven experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong expertise in Linux, Virtualization, Networking, Kubernetes, and Container Platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible).
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, including SLI/SLO, Monitoring, Alerting, Incident Management, and Capacity Planning.
- Experience managing production environments, system upgrades, backups, patching, and disaster recovery activities.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted operational tools and best practices.
- Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with Kafka, databases, distributed systems, or certifications such as CKA/RHCE is a plus.
