Deskripsi pekerjaan Lead Back End Engineer Kata Recruiters
Job Description
As Back End Lead, you will lead the team to:
- Manage overall team's working flow
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and other stakeholders within Engineering & all other teams/divisions to maintain a high-quality deliverables
- Advocate for improvements to product quality and performance.
- Recognize impediments to efficiency, propose and implement solutions
- Act as a key person to other team members (Backend), share the knowledge, and document it
- Manage & update backend resources
- Deliver weekly report to Head level
Technical sides, you'll be responsible for:
- Design the architecture, data migrations, and deployment strategy for current or new products to improve the performance of the app
- Implement best practices in the backend field
- Full responsibility for all backend Projects Improvement
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug applications
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
Qualification
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Extensive experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL), data modeling, and query optimization
- Knowledge of server management, deployment, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and leading a team of engineers. Ability to delegate tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance to junior team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
