1. Job Summary
Responsible for handling daily laundry operations, ensuring all linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items are properly washed, dried, ironed, folded, and stored according to company standards. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the laundry area.
2. Key Responsibilities
1. Collect, sort, and separate dirty laundry according to fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
2. Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
3. Wash, dry, iron, fold, and organize bed linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
4. Ensure all laundry items are clean, fresh, properly folded, and free from stains or unpleasant odors.
5. Inspect laundry for stains, damage, missing buttons, or other defects and report any issues.
6. Handle laundry chemicals and detergents according to safety instructions.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
8. Manage laundry inventory and ensure adequate supplies of detergents and other materials.
9. Deliver clean laundry to the designated storage areas or departments on time.
10. Report damaged equipment, maintenance requirements, or laundry shortages to the supervisor.
11. Follow hygiene, health, safety, and operational procedures.
12. Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
13. Can manage spotting like blood, stain and etc.
3. Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum high school education (SMA/SMK).
- Previous experience in laundry operations, hotel, villa, or housekeeping is preferred.
- Knowledge of washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment.
- Able to identify different fabric types and appropriate washing methods.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift laundry loads.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and responsible.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Honest, disciplined, and punctual.
