We are looking for an L1 Data Center Technician / Engineer to support enterprise data center and AI infrastructure environments.
You will be responsible for basic server and hardware troubleshooting, equipment health checks, component replacement, and first-level incident handling. Experience with NVIDIA GPU or AI infrastructure is a plus, but prior AI experience is not mandatory. This is a good opportunity for candidates with a background in data center operations, server hardware, infrastructure support, or technical hardware troubleshooting who are interested in expanding their skills into AI and high-performance computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine health checks and monitoring of servers and data center hardware.
- Troubleshoot and perform first-level fault isolation for server hardware and related components.
- Support troubleshooting of CPU, memory, GPU, storage, network cards, power and cooling components.
- Perform standard hardware replacement, including server components and other replaceable parts.
- Check server alerts, hardware logs and system health information.
- Support basic troubleshooting of network connectivity, cables and transceivers.
- Assist with BIOS, firmware, driver and hardware-related issues following standard procedures.
- Perform hardware testing, burn-in testing and post-repair validation.
- Record incidents, troubleshooting activities and resolution details.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 engineers, vendors or OEM support teams.
- Follow established troubleshooting procedures, runbooks and data center operational standards.
- Participate in shift-based or on-call support when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Data Center, Server Hardware, IT Infrastructure, or Hardware Support.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting enterprise servers and hardware components.
- Good understanding of server components such as CPU, RAM, storage, network cards and power systems.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows Server.
- Experience with server management or hardware diagnostic tools is an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, fault-isolation and incident-management skills.
- Willing to work in a data center environment and perform hands-on hardware activities.
Experience or knowledge in any of the following will be an advantage:
- NVIDIA GPUs / GPU Servers
- AI or Machine Learning infrastructure
- HPC (High Performance Computing)
- NVIDIA SMI / DCGM
- BMC / IPMI
- NVLink / NVSwitch
- InfiniBand / RoCE / high-speed networking
- Enterprise server brands such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Supermicro, or similar
- Data center monitoring and diagnostic tools
You do not need to be an AI infrastructure expert from day one.
We are especially interested in engineers who already have a strong foundation in server and data center hardware and are ready to work with next-generation GPU and AI infrastructure. Your existing data center experience can be the foundation for developing deeper expertise in NVIDIA GPU systems, AI infrastructure and high-performance computing.
