[L0 SOC/ Cloud Support - Shifting Based]
Loc: Central Jakarta
Type: Contract 12 months (extendable)
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum vocational high school (SMK) or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience: Preferably has 6 months or more of experience in IT or IT Security
- Additional qualifications: Has basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Has at least passive English language proficiency.
- Has basic knowledge of security technologies such as Firewall, VPN, Anti-Spam, Anti-Malware, and Anti-virus.
- Has a basic understanding of cloud environments (such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and basic services from cloud providers.
- Preferably understands basic SIEM concepts, including log event monitoring.
Able to follow established instructions and procedures in security operations.
- Preferably has good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in preparing simple daily reports will be an advantage.
- Preferably has an interest in or is currently studying information security certifications such as CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or equivalent.
Job Scope:
- Perform basic monitoring of security systems to detect potential cyber incidents.
- Observe and record incoming logs and events, ensuring all activities are properly documented.
- Classify log events based on simple rules, such as distinguishing between low, medium, and high urgency logs according to established guidelines.
- Respond to initial incidents with basic actions in accordance with playbook instructions or established standard operating procedures.
- Prepare daily reports related to recorded logs and events, and communicate this information to the SOC L1 team or management as needed.
- Escalate log events that cannot be further analyzed to more experienced teams (L1 or L2) for deeper investigation.
- Document every action or response taken in handling logs or incidents for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Manage simple documentation related to incidents that have occurred, collecting data and information to help develop a more comprehensive playbook.
