About the role
As a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Specialist at retail company, you will play a crucial role in managing and leveraging influential brand ambassadors to drive engagement and awareness for our products and services. This full-time role is based in Bandung, West Java, and will involve collaborating closely with our marketing and communications teams.
Job description
- Identifying and recruiting relevant KOLs within our target market
- Negotiating and managing contracts with KOLs to ensure effective brand representation
- Monitoring KOL performance and optimising their impact on brand awareness and customer conversion
- Analysing campaign data and providing insights to inform future KOL strategy
- Fostering strong relationships with KOLs to maintain brand loyalty and reputation
- Identify and establish relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers in specific industries.
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns involving KOLs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective KOL strategies.
- Monitor and analyze KOL performance and its impact on the brand.
- Organize events and activities involving KOLs to promote products
- Provide insights and recommendations based on KOL feedback.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards in KOL assignments.
- Develop and maintain a KOL database, including their reach, engagement level, and audience demographEnsure campaigns align with brand objectives, target audiences, and analyze campaign performance to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a KOL Specialist, Marketing Communications (Markom), or similar role, with knowledge of trends and influencers in Indonesia.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to identify and engage influential figures
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset to measure and optimise KOL campaign performance
- Creative and strategic thinking to develop innovative KOL engagement strategies
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and communications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage KOL contracts and partnerships
- Strong understanding of how to identify, engage, and manage relationships with key influencers and opinion leaders across various industries.
- Ability to identify and source potential KOLs in relevant industries (e.g., fashion and beauty).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude, with a willingness to take direction and feedback from supervisors.
- Interest in fashion and the ability to develop and maintain a KOL database, including reach, engagement levels, and audience demographics.
- Strong relationship-building skills to establish and nurture long-term partnerships with KOLs, serving as the brand’s main point of contact.
- Ability to collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute KOL-based campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns align with brand goals, target audiences, and analyze campaign performance to provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Ability to report on the effectiveness of KOL activities and campaigns, utilizing data and analytics to measure ROI and optimize future campaigns.
