ROLE DESCRIPTION
The KOL Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, responsible for building and managing partnerships with KOLs/influencers for the Functional Food and Skincare business lines. KOL collaboration is one of the main channels for building trust and product awareness, so this role needs someone who can own the entire partnership cycle from sourcing and negotiation to content briefing, day-to-day execution, and performance evaluation.
Daily activities include finding and vetting KOLs that fit each brand's target audience, negotiating rates and partnership terms, developing content briefs and approving content before it goes live, and monitoring campaign performance to refine future strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source, vet, and build partnerships with relevant KOLs/influencers for the Functional Food and Skincare lines
- Negotiate rates and partnership terms with KOLs, including contracts/collaboration agreements
- Develop content briefs for KOLs that align with each brand's voice and campaign goals
- Approve content before it goes live to ensure quality and alignment with the brief
- Manage the schedule and day-to-day execution of KOL campaigns from start to finish
- Monitor and evaluate KOL campaign performance (reach, engagement, conversion) to inform future strategy
- Collaborate with the content, marketing, and performance teams to ensure KOL campaigns align with overall marketing strategy
- Build and maintain a KOL database, nurturing long-term relationships for ongoing collaboration
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years of experience managing KOL/influencer partnerships, ideally for consumer/FMCG products
- Experience negotiating rates and partnership contracts directly with KOLs or their agencies
- Skilled at developing content briefs and conducting quality control on KOL output
- Understanding of KOL campaign evaluation metrics (reach, engagement rate, conversion) and able to translate them into actionable insights
- Existing network or familiarity with Indonesia's KOL/influencer ecosystem (macro, micro, and nano influencers)
- Ability to work on-site in Jakarta, manage multiple partnerships/campaigns simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in skincare, functional food, or consumer health industries is a plus
