Miss Michelle Learning House is a learning centre founded in 2018, providing international-standard academic enrichment for Kindergarten and Primary students.
We are looking for a patient, energetic, and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher Assistant to support teaching and learning activities for Kindergarten students. This role serves as a backup and replacement for Main Teachers across our learning centers, delivering engaging lessons in both Math and Reading/Phonics while ensuring a positive and supportive learning experience for young learners.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates confidently in English, is adaptable to different classroom settings, and is willing to travel between centers based on operational needs.
Job Description
- Conduct replacement classes for Kindergarten students in both Math and Reading/Phonics using the center's learning approach
- Prepare high-quality teaching materials and learning aids for daily classes
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons
- Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, and classroom activities aligned with the center's curriculum
- Create a positive, caring, and enjoyable classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence in learning
- Build positive relationships with students to help them adjust comfortably to the class and teacher
- Collaborate with teachers and the academic team to support curriculum implementation and center programs
- Operate teaching technology, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, and other digital learning tools
- Communicate with parents when necessary and support a positive learning experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment
- Be willing to travel and provide teaching support across all learning centers based on operational requirements
- Teach 5 days a week from 9.30 AM to 6.30 PM
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Psychology, Early Childhood, or related fields preferred)
- Experience working with young children (kindergarten/pre-primary) is a strong advantage
- Familiar with phonics-based reading programs and early numeracy concepts
- Patient, warm, and enjoys working with young learners
- Creative and able to prepare engaging learning materials
- Good communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Willing to teach face to face and online (via Zoom/Google Meet) when necessary
- Willing to commute among centers
