GENERAL FUNCTION:
Support System Administrator in daily routine tasks; monitor, test and maintain operational IT equipment and software. Continuous systems testing and logging.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Informatics discipline.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor, test, maintain operational IT equipment and software.
- Continuous systems testing and logging analysis, including system problem handling and escalation.
- Provide support for Senior System Administrator, Junior Database Administrator, Technical Staff and Telco Engineer in routine tasks.
- Minor maintenance and repair of company IT and Telecommunication hardware (this includes, but is not limited to: troubleshoot printers and photocopy machines issues and cleaning of servers, PCs, Keyboards, Monitor, Mice, etc.)
- Prepare, remove, test, clean presentation equipment in meeting rooms.
- Check, test and repair faulty IT and Telecommunication equipment.
- Routine installation of software updates/upgrades.
- Various tasks to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations, e.g., backups. Participate in special projects on request of Head of Operations, e.g., exhibition preparation etc.
- Provide first level technical support for issues that submitted to Operation via ticketing system.
- Create report of network and system status of IT equipment under responsibility and submit report to Operation deputy /manager.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Intermediate Unix/Linux Administration skills.
- Linux/Unix bash scripting skills.
- Intermediate Linux/Windows network configuration/setup knowledge and troubleshooting skill.
- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills: capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally.
- Problem solving and analysis skills.
- Having good English skill verbal and written.
- Willing to work in shifting schedules.
