Etta Place Brawa is a charming and well-established hospitality venue located in Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia. As we continue to grow and enhance our culinary offerings, we are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Sous Pastry Chef to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment while developing their skills under the guidance of experienced chefs.
The Junior Sous Pastry Chef will support the head pastry chef in the preparation and presentation of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Key responsibilities include assisting in menu development, maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization, preparing ingredients, baking and decorating items to high standards, and ensuring that all food products meet the quality and aesthetic expectations of the establishment. The role also involves working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and timely delivery of pastry items.
Candidates must hold an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role, is required. Proficiency in cooking, food decoration, and baking is essential. We welcome individuals who are creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment. Experience in a resort or high-end restaurant setting is a plus but not mandatory.
