We are looking for a Fresh Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field to join our team as a Junior Solar PV Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various stages of Solar PV projects, including site assessment, Solar PV system design, system sizing, energy estimation, PVsyst simulation, installation, testing, commissioning, and operation & maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and design of Solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Assist in conducting site assessments and technical data collection for Solar PV system design.
- Assist in preparing PV layouts, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), and technical drawings.
- Support Solar PV system sizing and energy calculations.
- Assist in selecting PV modules, inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and other system components based on project requirements.
- Support Solar PV system simulations and energy yield analysis using PVsyst or other PV design software.
- Prepare and update technical documents, drawings, datasheets, and project reports.
- Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Assist in evaluating Solar PV system performance.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, installation teams, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Support operation and maintenance activities as required.
- Ensure engineering activities are carried out in accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, and work procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of Solar PV systems and renewable energy.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and power distribution.
- Able to read and understand PV layouts, SLDs, electrical drawings, and equipment datasheets.
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV system sizing and electrical calculations.
- Basic understanding of PV modules, inverters, batteries, and mounting systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with PVsyst or other Solar PV design software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop in Solar PV Engineering and renewable energy.
- Willing to conduct site visits and business travel as required.
