About the Role
A Junior Software Engineer is responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a development team.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under guidance.
- Assist in developing new features and improving existing applications.
- Participate in code reviews and learn best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and product teams.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Perform testing (unit testing, basic QA support).
Requirements
- Familiar with Golang, React.js, and PostgreSQL (course/project experience counts).
- Solid understanding of OOP, REST APIs, and relational/non-relational databases.
- Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Comfortable with Git / version control.
- Eager to learn new technologies and improve coding skills.
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment.
