We’re Hiring – Junior Product Developer
Trend Studio Bali, an ethical Swim and Resort Wear manufacturer based in Bali, is hiring passionate individuals to join our growing team.
We are looking for a Junior Product Developer to join our Product Development team. You will support the development of new styles from initial concept through sample approval, working closely with the Product Development, Pattern, Sample, Production, and Purchasing teams.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Product Development Manager in developing new garments from tech pack to final approved sample.
Review and organize tech packs, sketches, measurements, construction details, and BOMs.
Prepare and maintain development documents, sample comments, and revision records.
Coordinate with Pattern Makers and Sample teams to ensure samples are developed according to client requirements.
Follow up on sample development timelines and make sure comments and revisions are communicated clearly.
Check samples against tech packs, measurements, construction, fabric, trims, and finishing requirements.
Assist during fittings and accurately record fit comments and required changes.
Communicate sample revisions to the relevant teams and follow up until completion.
Coordinate with Purchasing regarding fabrics, trims, labels, and other development materials.
Track fabric and trim availability for development samples.
Help identify development issues and communicate potential risks or delays to the Product Development Manager.
Maintain accurate development files and ensure all approvals and revisions are properly documented.
Support the team with other product development and production-related tasks as needed.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in garment product development, merchandising, technical design, sample development, or a related role.
Fresh graduates with relevant garment/fashion education and strong technical knowledge are welcome to apply.
Good understanding of garment construction, sewing, fabrics, trims, and measurements.
Able to read and understand tech packs, measurement charts, and garment specifications.
Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Comfortable working with multiple styles and deadlines at the same time.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Able to work independently while also collaborating well with different departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and basic computer applications.
Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
