Deskripsi pekerjaan Junior High Math and ICT Teacher (Placement - Bangka) Mutiara Harapan Islamic School Bangka
Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess lessons in accordance with the Pearson Curriculum
- Delivering clear and engaging lessons, using various teaching methods and technologies to help students understand complex scientific and mathematical concepts.
- Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior, encouraging student participation, and fostering a respectful and collaborative atmosphere.
- Working together with other teachers, staff, and school leaders to enhance the overall learning experience and integrate interdisciplinary approaches to education.
- Communicating with parents and guardians about their student's progress, areas of strength, and areas that need improvement in math and ICT
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development program
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Math or Math Education
- Teaching experience of at least 1 year in an international or national plus school
- Mastering international curriculum at least IGCSE standard/As Level (Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel)
- Proficiency in English at academic purpose level (IELTS min. 7, TOEFL minimum 590)
- Understand the use of digital technology related to the field
- Understand simple algorithms or coding
