Junior Back-end Developer

Job Desc:

1. Develop and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
2. Design and manage MongoDB databases, optimizing queries and ensuring effective data storage and retrieval.
3. Build and integrate RESTful to support frontend applications and external services.
4. Collaborate closely with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data flow and a consistent user experience.
5. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, implementing caching, load balancing, and scalability solutions.
6. Work with GIS data and libraries to integrate geospatial features and enable location-based functionality.
7. Implement secure authentication and authorization protocols, ensuring data security and compliance.
8. Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and adhere to best practices.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Node.js, MongoDB, and GIS to propose improvements.
10. (Optional) Possess knowledge or experience in logistics or shipping systems to support development of industry-specific features.

Requirements:

1. 0-2 years in backend development with a focus on Node.js.
2. Proficient in developing and maintaining server-side applications.
3. Knowledge of MongoDB, including query optimization and data handling.
4. Ability to build and integrate RESTful APIs for frontend and external service communication.
5. Basic understanding of GIS data and libraries (a plus if experienced).
6. Able to work effectively with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
7. Basic understanding of caching, load balancing, and addressing performance bottlenecks.
8. Knowledge of secure authentication and authorization practices.
