The customer is a sustainable footwear brand founded in 2009, dedicated to transforming discarded tires into durable, eco-friendly shoes. Their mission is to repurpose waste into stylish footwear while minimizing environmental impact.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Executive to support the company’s daily finance and accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reconciliation, and experience using accounting software such as Xero or similar systems. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Perform financial reconciliation, including bank reconciliation, account reconciliation, and transaction matching
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Record journal entries and ensure timely posting of transactions into the accounting system
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Monitor cash flow and assist in preparing financial reports
- Ensure all financial transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards
- Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and clients regarding billing or payment issues
- Support tax documentation and coordination with external accountants or auditors when required
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation and filing systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping roles
- Hands-on experience using accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of financial reconciliation and basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, written and spoken
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
For this position, the client’s budget is between IDR 8,000,000 - 10,000,000 gross/month
