Job Description
- Collect, clean, and process data from databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems.
- Analyze sales, store, customer, inventory, and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
- Use Python for data analysis, manipulation, and validation.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve, combine, and validate data from relevant sources.
- Prepare structured datasets for reporting, dashboards, and further analysis.
- Create analytical reports, summaries, and visualizations to communicate insights clearly.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and data requests from business and management teams.
- Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Translate business questions into analytical requirements and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with Business, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Technology teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Document analysis processes, assumptions, methodologies, and findings.
- Continuously improve data analysis processes, reporting, and data accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, particularly pandas, NumPy, and data manipulation.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills, including SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY, and data validation.
- Experience working with structured data from databases, spreadsheets, or data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation.
- Experience creating analytical reports, summaries, and basic data visualizations.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or other BI tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Able to translate business questions into data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new tools and business processes.
