Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend systems using Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) and microservices architecture.
- Implement and maintain data solutions, including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and TigerGraph databases, ensuring data security, backup, and recovery.
- Utilize ORM frameworks for database interactions and optimize performance for backend services.
- Collaborate with the team to install and revise systems, prepare specifications, create workflow diagrams, and recommend optimal access techniques.
- Ensure smooth integration and performance of services by using Kafka for messaging and event streaming.
- Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes.
- Monitor database performance and manage parameters to provide quick query responses, ensuring end-to-end user satisfaction.
- Maintain and enhance system reliability by writing unit tests using JUnit.
- Follow Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies for project management and delivery.
- Utilize tools like Jira, MS Project, and MS Planner for task management and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with data standards and data protection regulations.
- Support the development team by designing and coding utilities for database management and optimization.
- Write and maintain documentation, including data standards, procedures, and data dictionary definitions (metadata).
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus) and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and JUnit.
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and TigerGraph.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with Jira, MS Office, MS Project, and MS Planner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot database and system issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
