We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for end-user devices, network connectivity, printers, and Microsoft 365 services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and IT infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
- Perform device setup, configuration, and standardization according to company policies.
- Manage hostname configuration, domain joining, and operating system deployment.
- Create and restore system images (golden image).
- Configure and troubleshoot security tools and endpoint applications.
- Support EDC PIN Pad setup and configuration.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot printers and related devices.
- Troubleshoot LAN and network connectivity issues, including TCP/IP-related problems.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Escalate unresolved issues and coordinate with relevant teams when necessary.
- Maintain documentation of support activities and technical procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 year of experience in a similar IT Support, Desktop Support, or Infrastructure Support role.
- Strong understanding of Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with desktop/laptop deployment and standardization.
- Familiarity with hostname configuration and Active Directory domain joining.
- Experience creating and restoring system images (golden image).
- Knowledge of endpoint security tools and software configuration.
- Understanding of LAN networking concepts and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Experience installing and troubleshooting printers.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office 365) administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and software issues.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting banking or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and endpoint management tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and service desk operations.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA A+, or equivalent are a plus.
